Adelphinia

 Adelphinia

The Adelphinian Meta-Flag  (Ordo Crucix Alba)

Adelphinia is a philosophical and prophetic hypothesis about a dark place—a metaphysical state of anxiety-ridden existential despair, spiritual desolation, pervasive alienation. A paradoxical utopia and dystopia. A post-industrial wasteland in an otherwise advanced technological epicenter. A radial-template city within a larger homogenized, monotonized, anesthetized, culturally vacuous, depersonalized world where the individual and humanity are confronted by a transhuman epoch defined by a post-technological singularity and a human species struggling to survive extinction.  Adelphinia is an on-going project that began with "A Prelude To Adelphinia" (2022)  a hybrid book of prose and poetry and consists of subsequent drawing studies, photo-based pictures and sequential narratives that embrace ambiguity and open-ended meaning.  Adelphinia is a form of speculative futurism meant to raise questions and provoke multiple, paradoxical interpretations. It attempts to explore the gray areas dominated by artificial intelligence and information technology. The existential, dilemma it proposes raises relevant questions and concerns that demand our immediate attention but are too often dismissed.
